recordings!
You can license any composition in our catalogue to make a
compact disc recording
featuring your own voice or instrument. We offer the vocalist or
musician the opportunity
to create something of great worth and lasting value. As
audition material to submit to
agents, talent scouts and schools, these recordings are
absolutely the best, easiest and
lease expensive way to get their attention.
Measured against the cost of hiring players, arrangers and a
studio – which are truly
astonishing – these prices are a true bargain. Remember also,
your best efforts will be
showcased through the advantage of working with familiar
material that remains
unchanging take after take, until you get the version you want.
Fees for licensing music from the MMO Catalogue for the making
of personal records
shall be at the rate of $75.00 per minute of music with any
overage of time charged in .15
second segments. This rate only applies to classical recordings
(orchestral or chamber
music) performed by a full orchestra or chamber ensemble and not
to popular songs
shown in the website.
Accordingly, a five minute composition
would cost $375.00 to license based upon this formula.

would be $375 plus $18.75 or $393.75

Social Networking
Sites such as MySpace, YouTube, FaceBook and others
carry a $100.00 per website surcharge.
Fees are payable in advance via credit

A maximum of 1,000 copies may be made
under our usual terms and conditions. You
may not transfer these rights to third parties. The license is
for a period of three years with
a one year sell-off period for remaining product. Beyond the
three-year initial term, all
rights to these copyright works revert to Music Minus One Yes,
licenses are available for
larger initial press runs. Simply advise us of your intent in
this regard.
Licensing of our background tracks does not include
permission or mechanical fees required
by the publisher(s) of any copyright compositions you may use.
We will provide this information with our license.
